Blog #29: Filming and Editing Experience

Filming our final product was probably the hardest part of the whole process. Throughout the week we were experiencing difficulties with our group members where some couldn’t go on Zoom to film while others weren’t responding to texts or anything. We finally had a day to film our individual parts and our group parts after the mess. Our main actress could not film a large portion of the film at the end because of family reasons so we had to cut a large portion of the film out. A large part of the script was changed and altered so our working script had many changes to it. For filming I didn’t really have many parts since I was one of the side characters but it took me a while to film my part because of my family being too loud and my dogs barking. In the end though I pulled it off and was able to get my clip.

As always I was in charge of editing the movie. It was the most difficult to edit this film because of the lack of clips so I had to improvise and make my own clips with screen recordings and etc. I finished editing pretty quickly though and it was pretty challenging but I learned a lot.
