Blog #10: The Setting

In terms of the setting, we plan to have it take place in a little girl’s bedroom which would be dark but slowly lit up. The other rooms we will film in is the kitchen and the hallway which connects the kitchen and bedroom. All rooms will create an eerie and suspenseful mood since the genre is a horror/thriller movie. The narrative will be supported since we want to create a dark and scary scene which is why we plan on having minimal to no lighting. We will also be using props like anxiety meds, knives, and dolls to create an aspect of her being trapped and consumed by her bad anxiety. We will also use elements like light and roses to show hope and a guide for her.
